Lopez de Heredia 2014 Reserva Viña Bosconia Rioja
Lopez de Heredia 2014 Reserva Viña Bosconia Rioja
Of course we're gonna feature this wine! You know we love Lopez de Heredia and we're in the sharing mood. Looking for sub-$50 wine that can easily age 20+ years? Here you go! While delicious since its release, the 1994 Viña Bosconia in my cellar just started hitting its full stride a few years ago. At 12 years old, the 2014 is already very expressive and enticing. Already delicious, this wine will continue to evolve in a positive manner for many years to come. Get it while the gettin’ is good. If it matters: "The 2014 Viña Bosconia is 80% Tempranillo with 10% Garnacha, 5% Graciano and 5% Mazuelo from the El Bosque Vineyard in Haro, Rioja. Garnet in hue, it opens with cassis, cola, and oak-driven aromas. The palate is youthful andsmoot, with well-integrated tannis, black fruit and anisette at the finish. Still growin, it'll develop greater complexity with more time in bottle." - 95 Vinous
