From father to son, the Larochette family have been winegrowers and winemakers for generations in the southern Burgundy region of the Macon. Macon-Fuissé is one of the finest sub-regions of the Macon and is where La Grande Bruyere is located. 100% Chardonnay, the 2022 La Grande Bruyere is already singing. In the glass, the wine shimmers a brilliant gold color with wonderful aromas of Asian pear, honeycrisp apple and bergamot. The palate is textured, fresh and balanced with a striking interplay of ripe fruit concentration, especially caramelized grilled pineapple, and wet stone minerality that effortlessly leads into a long finish, displaying depth, persistence and refreshment.
