This smells like Northern Rhone Valley Syrah from Saint Joseph or Crozes-Hermitage with its violet, earth, cracked pepper and raspberry aromas. The medium-bodied palate follows through with a silky texture and fine-grained tannins supporting bay leaf, thyme, Italian plum and blueberry fruit. Very food-friendly. Drink now through 2028.
